No quoting in posts - no quoting the post DIRECTLY ABOVE your response is what I mean
 

So apparently this is not to be done. How about making an announcement that is in every sub-forum? I know it can be easily done, a lot easier than handing me an infraction. I'm not the only one who forgets that you aren't suppose to quote in posts. I mean, I'm a paying member. Personally I don't believe it's fair to give me an infraction even though there's a few others(including admin) who have done it or are currently doing it. What's so difficult about making an announcement not to quote in post?

I've worked with vBulletin before, it's not difficult at all. In a matter of second it can be made.

It's more of quoting the above post, which I guess is cluttering. It's Modee's thing, he's a bit strict about it. Don't worry though 1-2 infraction points is just letting you know, in a harsh Modee type of way. :)

It's actually a good style to not quote the above post since usenet style threads are hardly used anymore. I see a lot of people on lots of forums (offsite) quoting in the cumbersome style that the way Modee mentioned not to do.

An infraction is actually Modee's way of hitting on you. So watch out.

I learned that by now...I received my 3rd infraction Today.

But of course, if you had access to source, you could make it so that it is impossible to quote the last post.

Since Modee gave me all those infractions, I don't quote the posts above me anymore. ;)
