Default How much money is enough for you? :) For your DREAMS!

Doable: (my goal $5 Million)
When I was going to 9th grade high school back in the day. I was thinking $5 million is a good amount to sit in a bank at 5% Now that's all changed and the banks only give out 1.25% I am sure it's more with a larger amount.

I am guessing today with $5 Million I could live a good life and never have to work again or worry about money and just buy a normal house and live pretty good without worries! And not have to worry about retirement plans or 401k bs from jobs worked in life. Just own a house 3,000 sq feet, 1 sports car (corvette z06), 1 benz (4 door under $80k), 1 SUV family car ($33k). And live off the rest without worries.

What about you guys?

Dreamer:
I mean honestly I'd love to have billions! K? Were I just live off the % the banks give me and never have to worry about the account going down! I want a big boats (over 50 feet to 300 feet), jets! 1 super sonic jet, 787 dreamliner, Castle, house on the beach, house up in Aspen! One in Swiss, one in Canada some place, oh another big one in Ireland near the water, some tropical places, Cayman Islands, Bora Bora/Tahiti! Own about 500 exotic cars (1,000 car garage custom build next to my house) with an underground batcave style walk out to the beach. Yeah the life you can't have even if you won the lotto 10 times OVER! lolllll I would not even want to own a company and worry about any bs or law suites or problems in the media why risk it!

I just see all this business talk on the site but we all have dreams and we all do it for a reason. Not to work for someone most of you I read that you were sick and had to work from home and so on.

Doable? And Dreamer? lol. What's yours? This should be fun!
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

Once I get to like 30 million pounds, I'm getting my own place in Kensington Palace Gardens... (average property 22 million pounds)

I see myself there one day, seriously.

Oh wow very nice houses there. Is that the whole area like? Kinda like Naples, Florida where all the houses on the beach front cost like $7M to $15M but yeah for that price I'd want water! But looks very nice from the pictures!

Enough is never enough. One thing I know to be true for sure is no matter how many millions or billions I amass, I will die never having been satisfied.

Sky's the limit but double digit millions is a good goal at the minimum.

where's your million then? unless you're talking about 1,000,000 Indonesian Rupiah, in which case I agree with your statement

How Ironic you say 5 Million?

A study was done and most people say they would be "Rich" if they had 5M.

Must be the magic number.

You know you are my most favorite person on this forum right? Along with GreenBean! lol

I came up with $5M when I finished 8th grade, that summer I found out banks were giving out 5% on savings account. This was back in 1996 some time. Yeah go guess my age! :P Anyways with $5 M = $250,000 a year $20,833 a month. This would be enough to live off for the rest of my life but then the banks dropped it with this wonderful world economy and so on. But in 8th grade my goal was to have $5,000 a month.

If you think about it we are all millionaires....... if you work 40 years for someone lol. Some of us haven't worked for someone in 30 years! lol

With todays Historic Low Interest Rates it takes a lot of money to do well.

1 Million in the typical bank today earns LESS than 1%, yes 1%. That's less than $10,000.00 per year BEFORE taxes are paid. Ouch!

Try living on that income?

It takes a LOT of money today to so-call Retire. Many seniors are working well into their 70s & 80's just to support basic needs.

That's why I'm currently creating Passive Income Businesses to support my lifestyle.

I have no idea how regular Joe Blow lives in todays economy.

Me and Roscoe both live in different worlds! I know you are a Consultant also. lol

I get 1.25% to 1.75% and I don't have $1 Million.

We don't really pay taxes here. Every year when I get my % in my account, it's without taxes. And no gov offical knows the money is in the account because by law they can't look into our accounts (Tax heaven country). And when I do work I only pay 12.5 to 15% taxes with retirement, dental 80% after 2 years it's 100%, medical is paid 95% I get 95% cash back next day after paying my bill for it. I get 5 weeks paid vacation with ANY JOB in the country! My last job I had 3 months paid VACATION! It was a f all type of a job. I worked in a hotel at night, For 3 years. I did my eb business and research online at night time, slept most of the times. lol. I had a blast! There was always 4 of us working and we would always take turns sleeping. + FREE FOOD! When it's expensive. List goes on and on for me.

Retirement here is just so wonderful! If you had a normal 9 to 5 job it's like 1800 to 2200 euros after taxes. IF you made 5,000 euros a month for the last 3 to 5 years then you will get 5,000 euros per month for retirement. What you made the last 5 or 3 years, will avg out to be what you made for retirement or something like that. I don't really care to know because I don't plan on working for someone else. I only worked for someone else in my life for 3.5 years.

Speaking of taxes, EB, PP, AMZ, are all registered here along with kijiji, I posted a po box they have in another thread. If you own an online or make money from an IP address in the country, you only pay taxes on 20% profits they don't count the 80% and out of the 20% you only really pay 30% taxes so out of 100% it's like 5.5% ONLY! Not bad eh?

You have an expsive taste with your life style I noticed Roscoe.

Yeah a regular Joe BLOW is not having the life.

There are degrees out there you can earn in 30 days, and start making $4-5k a month, After a few months upgrade to $9-12k per month, after a few more months add another $5-7k plus your $9-12k and each time you want more funds add $5-7k not everyone can do it. And this can only be done within USA/Canada. Each spot in the world is different! A business here that runs well won't work in the USA. And one in the USA won't work here either.

Oh and by the way. For eb, I only pay 15% fees total and 0% taxes! I guess it's all included in eb fees! & PP is only under 2% If you guys registered in the US you have to pay fees, + PP + taxes + new taxes and bs they add on each year!

But the reality he just said is only in the states! I don't think I'll ever pay taxes with an online business! Unless they will change it in the near future.
