This is how my heart feels when women are near me, just breathe in and breathe out az/eb won't bite you, but women will! Everything will be okay. *breathes in and out*

bruceuk 02-18-2013 02:20 PM

Most small private helicopters have a very limited range so hes about right at 200 miles , but there more aimed at the execs and will carry 4 people.
Mid range choppers will see you around the 400 - 600 miles and will carry 8 people .
Off shore or rescue choppers will take you 1000 miles and even the big birds will only carry 25 people so to evacute cruise liners with a chopper is a no no , it would take weeks.
Trick to this all is choose a cruise company with a good safety record and none of this hopefully will ever be relevant .

GhostWhoWalks 02-18-2013 03:23 PM

Why even talk about the helicopter? LOL What matters the most is. Can you really pay for one with the bottle water and Candies you sold? lol

Sandy has funds so, that wouldn't matter!

I can't wait for you guys to get in the details of the engine! :pop2:

oompaloompa 02-18-2013 04:27 PM

I wish I had you guys attitude, I am prone to anxiety. eb/pp bring it out in me.

disputes, holds, limitations, chargebacks or just the fear of them...

plus there are aspects to playing the game that make me uncomfortable, like when I get asked for proofs or the fact that I have accounts in different details to my own...

dont you guys worry about someone saying, why have you got so many banks, or ebay accounts...etc

stuff like cancer though, thats harsh, I am scared of that too...and the motorway...and flying....

Helicopters have a very, very short fuel range, about 200 miles total. No helicopter can make it out to sea and back.

Carnivale did a good job in this crisis. There were 4,200 passengers + 2,000 employees. People would have died had they tried to evacuate 6,000 people, not possible.

Not one person died or was injured from what I've heard. Plus the people getting off the ship all look in good health.

If something should go wrong on a cruise ship you are ******

Heart attack, stroke, appendectomy, etc... you'll most likely die. It takes 1-2 days to get to port.

Even if they have enough life boats, no one incl staff knows how to use them. Tons of staff turnover, training for rescue is pathetic.

Plus everyone is so Fat from eating food 24/7 a life boat could only carry one person.

Now that is scary.

I know you cannot take food on.

We were teasing because if there was a way to make some money on Carnivals screw ups I would be all over it.

I dont think they handle it well at all.

We had someone get sick out to sea and they sent a helicopter with a basket to get them once.

We also had a nice size boat pull up along side us once and people got off.

This was a total disaster.

Sandy D 02-18-2013 04:35 PM

Sunday night sales was very good for my health.

Lots of green items that sold last night.

Smiles all around.

Sure I do.

Call in McHales Navy to come and get me off that damn rat trap.

Ernest is long past I believe so he wont be able to help me.

Have to send in someone else in his place.

I would demand call the coast guard, I have orders to fill. =}

Yup last year at age 95.

I`m the same way oompa... anxiety is awful to live with (though I finally found a good med to relieve it). I also find it theraputic to come here often - just to know that we can control them makes it less scary. eb/pp is like the bogie man lurking about when you are a kid. But in reality, we can control the situation through the methods learned here.

Also helps too a sense of humor and really if you think about is there any company on earth more comical than eb/pp? Just think of all the ridiculous things we have to do just to sell something for .99 A stand-up comic would have hours and hours of material.

Sandy would have had the ship's quartermaster all organised, selling the ships own supplies to the passengers, with a healthy cut coming to her.

Get with the program, rsot, seriously.

Sandy D 02-18-2013 07:40 PM

Shhhh

Someone will steal the idea.

Since Carnival did not have a plan in place someone has to get them in line.

MM78 02-18-2013 08:24 PM

When I first started Stealthing my wife didn't really know about it or had a clue. One day she finds all my stealth accounts, tracfones, multiple bank cards, etc and she literally thought I was cheating on her or something.

I pretty much laid it out there and explained it all, she wasn't too happy but she understood and really doesn't want to know what I'm up too...a
I did once explain to a friend what I was doing and they kinda looked at me like I was crazy or something...so I don't try to explain anything to anyone.
I do get asked by different people what my Ebay ID is, I just give them 1 I have in reserve with no sales, feedback to them to look at.

It would have been easier to tell her you were auditioning for the lead in a James Bond flick.

Roscoe 02-18-2013 09:10 PM

Never tell family or friends that you're an Internet Marketer or Stealth Ebay/PayPal.

I told one family member and he gave me a Triple look. :suspicious: :suspicious: :suspicious:

Why do you have to lie to PayPal?

Why can't you just be a normal business person with Ebay and PP like everyone else?

I
Are you going to be in the Newspapers?

OMG x100.

Give me a breaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak, PayPal sucks, everyone does this.

GhostWhoWalks 02-19-2013 01:34 AM

MM78 - That was just priceless!!!!

I told my friend who does my packaging and his like "Okay hurry up man make a 100 of them so you stay busy and we both make more money!"

Roscoe - Some people just don't get it! Or understand the smallest detail.

I wanted to do stealth since last year when I was told by an ebay rep on the phone that, when someone searches a category that they mix and give everyone a random spot to be on the first page to give people a chance. I figured with 40+ I'd always be on page 1!

AT one point I was #8 for my category! WAS AWESOME!!! Took me 3 months to get there.

You guys shouldn't sweat it that much, just build up feedback sell the items then.

One of my competitors sells an item for .99 cents to build up feedback while selling his items, and then when his at a good 99.8% he puts that item at $26 so no one buys it then when he needs too he puts it back at .99 cents. A very cool trick since it's BUY IT NOW and stays on the records!

Hilarious!!! I dont know if I`ve gotten the triple-take, but definitely have witnessed the stare  immediately followed by the interrogation:rant:

Stealth is one of those things in life that needs to stay in the closet.

Sandy D 02-19-2013 02:37 AM

So my "baby stealth account maker" hat is not a good idea?

Now I know why I have my office room locked up better then Fort Knox, no one goes in and no one sees the bank of computers and phones.

Off limits to everyone including the dog.

GreenBean 02-19-2013 03:18 AM

Never the dog!!

He guards the door to the inner sanctum.

No code, no entry.

Stealth is one of those things in life that needs to stay in the closet.

To make matters worse, he went behind my back and has told other people in my family. My sister asked me recently if I had a LOT of PayPal accounts?

I replied "why would you ask that?"

She said "you don't have a lot of PayPals?"

I replied "I have 2, a personal and a business. Are you having problems with yours or something? Maybe I could help you."

She gave me the stare :suspicious:

GhostWhoWalks 02-19-2013 07:17 PM

Sandy, you can always add security features to the pc! In case you should get up and leave for 10 seconds and have people in the house.

I use to have a program for my computer, if I don't touch any keys or the mouse for 60 seconds the screen goes black! And for it to go away you just type in a password! And the screen is back to normal.

If you are all worried about security risk and all.

Roscoe 02-20-2013 12:55 PM

No one touches my laptop. I mean no one :fight:

People ask to use my laptop all the time.

I tell them, "my laptop is MY business, it pays my bills every month, this is how I make my money, no one touches my laptop, period." I keep my office door locked 24/7, no one gets in.

Even though I have 2 external backups, my laptop is my business/store.

GhostWhoWalks 02-20-2013 01:03 PM

I think you and Sandy should invest in buying the BATCAVE! :pound:

Just kidding! Yeah I hate when someone gets on my laptop. I don't even like the wife on it when I am sleeping. You should have a 2nd one as a backup. And put the laptops in a vault!

MM78 02-20-2013 01:25 PM

My wife uses my laptop all the time...Nothing is on the Laptop as far as stealth, everything is on FlashDrives and backed-up in the Cloud. Every week I back-up so no fear.

GhostWhoWalks 02-20-2013 01:40 PM

When you mean flashdrivers, do you mean memory stick with it's own portable firefox in it? Just plug and play? Like that?

Memory Sticks, Yes...also yes with Portable Firefox on the memory stick, just plug in and go, that way the if anyone uses my Laptop and gets on Firefox their is no bookmarks, etc saved on it.

GhostWhoWalks 02-20-2013 03:17 PM

Yeah I use to do that with work, browse online all night long and not leave a trace! Also to be on the save side I would open up "firefox private" or google chrome private, even for memory stick. Works good also, much faster I believe.

oompaloompa 02-21-2013 10:01 AM

I might need a tutorial for firefox portable on memory stick.....one for every user though?

GhostWhoWalks 02-21-2013 10:42 AM

You just go to PortableApps.com - Portable software for USB, portable and cloud drives get firefox download it. Open the zip file, make a folder in the memory stick. And open it up to use it. I know you can save bookmarks on it. You can also add different folders by name to do this. But do check with MM78.

You, slim and a few others are like walking techie brains.

Gosh I wish I had you guys talent for this stuff.

slim jim 02-22-2013 10:43 AM

it is the balance of the old school and new school that makes life work! :)

Sandy D 02-22-2013 08:00 PM

Wish I had time to learn the new school techie stuff.

Done well with little to no tech training or experience so I cannot complain.

Old school experience is what many younger new school dont have so there is some advantages but the techie stuff would be an awesome mix if you have both working for you!

I have so many ideas in my head for websites but do not have the time to work on it.

FIL was a electronics genius and could fix anything in sight, created tons of gadgets, made all kinds of experiments with electrical stuff, create new things from scratch. A walking talking genius with brains too match on everything.

When it came down to computers he had no interest at all.

But he called it, I was told he said in the mid 1970s by the time I pass there will be computers in every house in America and everything you do will be controlled by computers.

He was old school with brains bursting out of his head, nothing he could not do or fix.

Take a guy like him and add todays tech stuff and you have only a very few of him like that out there.

Sandy that's why partnerships can be so great. It is not impossible but very tough to build a kingdom alone. The problem in today's world is trust and for good reason . It makes it very tough to group up in a world that teaches self survival
