Before I forget, I was selling #2 Pencils in Middle School, $1 each, we're they overpriced? Yes! But if you needed 1 for a test or notes...I was the go to guy, those girls always tried to use their female ways to get them for free, didn't work!

MM78, why did you risk your account with an unverified buyer?

One of my older brothers told me he used to sell bubble yum when it first came out to the kids at school for 0.50 a pc.

Said he made a small fortune helping kids pull their fillings out.

First kid in middle school to buy a CD burner when those things were expensive. Especially for 13yr old. Spent all my time on Napster downloading songs and selling mix tapes for $5.

That's because it's low life people like the OP of this thread, who sell count/erf/eit products, that are most often using the word. I can't believe this stupid thread is still going.

I think my story is pretty awesome and should make a new thread about it.... but o well here it goes.....

It all started when I really wanted a gasoline powered motor scooter back in middle school, so my birthday came only to find out my parents bought me an electric motor scooter............. I WAS HEART BROKEN!!!

I was upset and ended up giving it to my little brother, I had also gotten about 200$ from my relatives..... I got into an argument with my parents about them not wanting me to have a gasoline powered motor scooter thinking I was way to young for something like that (I was 12 and in the 7th grade year 2002).

So my father told me if I wanted it so bad I would have to work for it and buy it on my own.

As tempting as it was to spend that money I had from my relatives I knew I could make that 200$ into 800$. Within that week my mother and I had went to the 99cent store to buy something and never really payed attention to the prices but that place was A GOLD MINE!!!

They were selling EVERYTHING!!! I'm talking bidders, papers, pens, pencils...... and most importantly junk food. So i decided to spend 10$ on shock tarts i think it was 3 or 4 for a dollar. I took it to school the next day and was trying to sell candy to the kids for a 1$ each..... NO ONE WANTED ONE!

I would always here my dad talking about business and I would always listen, he had repeated a few times advertising is key to business, so i got on my computer and created a nice picture of candy using paint and printed it out, i wrote on it if you like candy come to my locker#*** during the breaks....

So i did that for like a day or 2.... Nothing!

I ended up going to a groceries store with my mother and they were giving out free samples of some kind of soup that you would never pay attention to when passing by the aisles, we tried it and loved it....My mom ended up buying it..... THEN IT HIT ME!

Next day I opened 2 of the shock tarts and gave to everyone in the class....... they all ended up coming back to me and wanting to buy them, I was so shocked to find out i had just sold everything before first period was done.......

Within 3 days I WENT ALL OUT........ the main hall in the school where the most kids would pass by i ended up waiting by all the lockers and asking them if they would let me use there lockers for 5$ a month.... I ended up getting 8 lockers in time but all different prices. lol

I was selling everything!

Everything was good until the school found out.... I was making more money then there cafeteria.

Anyways that's when I knew I was a going to succeed in life..... I ended up making way more then what the motor scooter cost.......

Now I want a brand new lambo

Yea, based on your last post I got maybe a year or so on you. Use to go to get the boxes of Candy my last two years of H.S. and sell it as well.

I paid at the time a fortune for the CD burner. Was like $800 and the CDs were like a $1 pc each. It was nuts at the time all things considered. Had dial up internet running it all night trying to download music. Borrowing as many CDs from friends as I could to copy them. Had two of those huge 200 album binders full. Would also sell copies of albums if asked for . Hopefully the statue of limitations has run out. Since it was 10+ years ago.

Lol, my first business enterprise I was like 10. Got a buddy on Sundays before the Garbage/Recyclable came we use to go through and collect all the cans/beer bottles and plastic bottles with redemption. Back then you had to sort your recyclable into smaller containers. Not the big throw your recyclable into one big bin twice the size of the garbage like they do now. But we could make like $50-100 on a Sunday split between two 10 year old kids. At the time it felt pretty damn good.
