Help! How to jailbreak & unlock iPhone 4S Verizon 6.0.1???
 

I dont go to storage auctions no more (its been over a year) but today, they had one just down the street from my house so I said why not and went. I got this small storage that had a iPhone 4S in one of the boxes. I want to put the iPhone 4S on Straight Talk but I heard that the iPhone has to be jailbreak & unlocked to do it, is that true? Has anyone ever had a Verizon iPhone 4S 6.0.1 and changed it to Straight Talk? If so, can you share how u did it. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

think if it's on 6.01 it's jailbreakable..you can use evasion as i use that now it's fantastic and simple to do..then just get a gevey sim and insert your supplier in..it'll make any network work..just never update it..only issue i have now is some cracked apps seem to constantly crash..they load up then close themselves down..

Gevey sim...care to explain? Separate from the phone itself?

Well i had a phone which was locked to orange uK network on iPhone 4s...jailbroke it..and discovered theres no unlock..so i got a gevey sim off ebay..and i inserted that and followed the instructions.as long as you place the gevey sim+ your new network sim in it seems to work and perfect too. Only problem is me like a dumbs bricked my phone and lost the software so gevey doesn't support above 6.01 iOS software..
