It`s not big in North America - here (in Canada) it is identified as International Women`s Day.

But in Europe (at least) it is a holiday in many countries. Bro in Australia says something about it being celebrated there too but not sure if holiday there.

This year's theme is for taking action against violence to women.

Usual gambit of luncheons, speech making and pledges happening.

It is gaining more popularity. Good cause
