I wanted to start this sort of thread for a long time so I finally had some time at 4am so I decided let's do it! Anyways I'm into 80s and 90s music. My favorite musician has got to be michael Jackson(I know there are a lot of Jackson fans out there). Second favorite is Rick Astley. My favorite song is "Never gonna give you up" by rick astley. I enjoy all the old hits. Well recommend some songs if you like and I would love to hear the songs you guys listen to.

Im in the USA. Yeah I like elvis but only one song which the jail house rock. I like only 80s and 90s rock as its not the type of rock you hear now a days. These days music has just gone down the drain.

I used to listen to rap but just got sick of the lyrics always being about bad things. But eminem got to get props for being a white rapper among a industry of rap music.

I have Sirius satellite radio, and usually listen to stuff that doesn't require a lot of thinking. Reading and writing all the time and then listening to what someone on sat is saying doesn't work out to well.

Yeah but if you listen to a song enough you will know the lyrics. I listen to some instrumentals of the movie godfather. I feel calm when listening to the godfather intrumental music.
For rock and roll KISS is a really good band.

Do you know that techno beat from that new chimps movie where the last chimp is pressing the colorful screen.

That same beat is also in that family guy episode where peter goes back in time and he is in the dance club with clevland.

Im dying to know this beat! If anybody knows please tell me I would love to add it to my itunes library!

HI: NO Rap,
It all sounds the same to me. /Same Beat..pretty much same topic/theme.
I like Top 40/ R+B.
Some Oldies.Leo Sayers,Marvin Gaye, El Debarge,Daryl Hall & John Oates ,Al Green..Thats whats on my cd changer right now..

Yep I don't like rap either. Marvin Gaye has some good songs like "Aint no mountain high enough" pretty good song. You don't like michael Jackson?

HI: used to like Beat it and Thriller-but stopped listening to him after publicity with the little kids..I have 9 kids..dont go for that stuff.he;'s too old for having little kids sleep over for a party..etc..

Yeah true but he still got some nice songs. I also like smooth criminal and billy jean by michael Jackson. I don't why he would do the thing he did with the little kids. Its really messed up.

Just caught the Foo Fighters at the Rose Garden, man they rocked it hard, they played for almost 3 hours, 2 sets and a 6 song encore. An amazing show and I got about 20 of the posters for that show.
