Can I sue greendot?
 

I got a couple of moneypaks more then 5 less then 10 and loaded them on a greendot. Couple of days later I got blocked and called greendot. They told me because security risk pattern. I cant use greendot anymore in life they said. Its stupid because I have done nothing wrong that would cost them money.

Now I dont care anymore if they open to me, but I wanna teach them a lesson to not say things. There policy says I can load up to $2,500 usd in moneypaks but nowhere does it says can't load more then 5 cards on to the card.

By the way dont load more then 5 moneypaks per day or you might get closed down by sucky greendot corp!

You can sue anyone if you have the legal grounds to do so.

Beating a large company can be costly. Their entire defense will be security risk which they have almost 100% control over making the decisions on.

Darn, I wish I had the money to do it. Will have to talk to many lawyers. I feel like david vs goliath.

Large companies will bleed you dry with lawyer fees and if you lose you get to pay their attorneys fees.

Sorry this happened but it will cost you more fighting them instead of figuring out another way.

Pick your battles astralman...any service which deals with a busload of money has the means and skills to fight back. Best spend your time (and money) elsewhere.

You don't have a pot to piss in. As a private corporation, Greendot has the right to refuse service for whatever reason they want with the exception of discrimination against a federally protected class.

Someone should sue you. Did you ever read the T&S of greendot? Did you ever discuss their methods with them?

Next time, and we all know there will be one, read the fine print of whatever company you imagine has a set against you. It is a buyer's duty to be aware of any and all pitfalls.
