Side note (on the music side) - Chris Kelly at age 34 - rapper from Kris Kross also died few days back - OD'ed :(

its awful for the family too, i had a mate die not so long ago through an overdose, his mum was distraught :(

he had a kid too, the funeral was too much to handle, hope i never have to experience something like that again

One hit wonders who were known for problems.

Sad but if they want to play with death they had far better opportunities then most kids when they were a hit in the early 1990s.

For some reason I dont feel bad for people like this who take an opportunity that was handed to them and abuse it beyond belief.

Sad this happened but far too many cannot handle the massive amounts of money and fame and end up like this.

They were goners ( one hit ) in no time anyway with no careers left and probably wasted all their money.

Agree with you on that Sandy - it's a pity to see these happen but I dont have sympathy...making all that money and living in the public light - you have to be able to deal with that...whether accountants, psychologists, etc - death by accident is one thing but drug overdose? Waste of cash and life...especially when you have so much to you that people can only dream of at any given point of time.

A real loss. Slayer (aside from Zep) is my favorite group. Will be missed. I wonder if Dave, Kerry, & Tom will disband or if they add a new member. I know they were holding off making new album until Jeff got better.
