Problems with women paypal reps rant
 

For some reason whenever i call paypal i ALWAYS have problems when i speak to a woman customer representative. Its to the point where if i call and a woman answers i hang up and call back until a guy answers...i know, its silly but seriously!

I called Paypal today and woman answered and i thought, ok its silly dont hang up especially since i was holding for a while. But of course she couldnt help me. I explained my situation over and over and she kept responding with info that wasnt helping, i was talking to her for about 15mins maybe. She transferred me to another woman...same thing. She then transferred me to a guy and viola he was able to fix my problem within 5mins!

Maybe this is like a self fulfilling prophesy and im only conscious of when i receive bad service from women representatives. Or maybe im on to something...

Maybe it the reaction to your voice, or are you saying most women there are stupid and only the men are savvy....could be they didnt know how to fix.. so passed you over till someone did. ( just a thought )

Of course im not saying women are more stupid than men (im a woman). I just find it odd that i get much better customer service from men when i call paypal.

I find all lower level c/s reps are clueless at paypal. That's why as soon as I get a live person on the phone I ask to speak to a supervisor. Just be thankful we can get a human on the phone unlike ebay:)

The last person I talked to from Paypal was a woman and she literally saved me $1600.

I usually just get sent to the Resolution Center after talking to the first person for about 10 minutes and then my problem gets solved right away.

Yeh, im always passed to the res department or i aske to be sent there straight away to save 5 mins of telling them my life story.

Whatever you do with PayPal while on the phone you must stay composed unless the situation has turned crisis and no hope then you go all out and do as you please. They will not help you at all if you're mean or threatening in voice. I like when I get ladies because they seem to be more apathetic when I talk all sad about how they limited my account unfairly, and I have had two ssn requirements lifted without giving information out. You must be an actor and do your best job and read the person who you're talking to and tell them what they want to hear. Also, you must be straight forward and tell them what you want because if you don't they will not give you it even if they might have by just asking.

Most Paypal reps are arrogant/bad attitude. Last phone call made me wait 20 minutes, only to have the rep hang up on me. :rolleyes:

I prefer speaking to the women over there, instead of the men.

ooh, I ALWAYS prefer dealing with men than women... [as a women.] I can`t help it, there is something " man/women" that is easier to deal with.... I always figured that my attirude on this was the reason I got sons, no girls..... than GRANDSONS... too bad for them... I made them go to the ballet with me, and to shows, and to the symphony.
They survived and wives and girlfriends actualy thanked me!!!!

Most PP reps are high school dropouts working to get money for drugs. I have yet to talk to anyone at PP male or female who has any clue at all.

The last PayPal rep that spoke on the phone with me offered to exchange my limited account balance for crack. 2:1 exchange rate, too...

I have never had success with a guy they just don't budge on anything and they will keep reading the tos to no end. Ladie rep's seem to listen better and get things done if you talk to them right.

I took some course at work that taught you how to "adjust " YOUR personality and technique to fit the other person`s personality... or as I called it.... How to make amyone do what you want by finding their "weak " spot.
