Spurs vs Heat - NBA Finals
 

Spurs rebounded hard last night - was a good game. Who wants whom to win?

Spurs play the best brand of basketball. Well ran machine.

Heat has the better athletes and the speed.

I would like to see Tim Duncan win his 5th ring. Had David Robinson not retired early they would have had maybe a couple more.

Lebron is the best player in the league and 5 years from now we might be talking about him with Jordon, Dr J etc. so I have a hope he has a chance at more rings also.

What is so funny is seeing the Heat being much younger, more athletic and being so tired. They are worn out, many look totally shot while the Spurs keep on moving along.

Seeing the Heat players being so worn out tells me they have poor conditioning issues.

I like spurs to win it. I hate miami with all those ready made players. I mean 5/6 all stars on 1 team. Just too much really. 2-3 is cool but 5/6 DAMN

Parker might be hurt which wouldn't be good. This series prob goes 7. Toss up for the winner . Does anyone actually like the heat?

Loaded up and still have trouble with the aging Spurs.

Reminds me of the Yankees teams who bought the all star squad and won a few WS with buying players to fill the roster.

I do not hate the heat but they are also reminding me of the worse college football team as far as attitude and cockiness as in the Miami U Canes which I cannot stand at all.

Like Lebron, dont like Bosh at all, over rated, over paid.

Parker being hurt could hurt them badly.

Actually the heat are older than the spurs

I have more Miami Heat items to sell than Spurs, so I am going with Miami Heat. It also seems like there are more Heat fans than Spur fans. My Heat merchandise def sells at least 4 to 1 than Spurs, but it all fairness, I have 2x more Heat merch than Spurs.

Sure they are but when you add Juwan Howard at 40 in the mix it adds a ton of years to the Heat avg age.

Heat have 7 players 33 or older. A few dont play much at all so dont really add into the mix of the game.

Spurs have 6 player under 25 dropping their avg a ton with two players only 21, almost the age of one Heat player Howard.

Heat is loaded with what I think are out of their prime "older" players like Howard, Lewis, Haslem and Battier.

Watching game two it appeared to me the Spurs had gas left while Miami players were exhausted out winded badly.

Miami roster average 30.0 and Spurs is 28.7, not much difference other then toss in a Heat player being a 40 year old and then toss in 2 Spurs players at being only 21 the avg is skewed.

This is what I was reading when I noticed the starters.

Taking it a step further and adding up just the starting fives from Game 1, the Spurs still have the age edge.

Sandy, i doubt lebron will ever be as good as jordan. Jordan is pairless

any of you guys find it "odd" that whenever a team looks like if they are going to beat the heats all of a sudden a star player ALWAYS gets hurt?

I did not mean he would be a Jordon, I said he would be talked about WITH the likes of jordon, Dr J etc.

Some put Magic J in the same sentence as Jordon and his name should never be compared to Jordon.

Magic only did well because of the players around him. Put him on a different team and he would be an all star but not mentioned the way he is today with the same names as Jordon, Dr J etc.

You cannot doubt he is extremely good. Todays best player for sure. He would eat Kobes lunch in a one on one game.

I did not like his move from the Cavs and the cocky scripted interview but I still give him credit.

No doubt - being down 3-1 to the Heat would be mentally rough on the Spurs

Looks like a 7 games series to me. Both teams look great one night then average the next night.

Back and forth so far - it's decent, not lopsided

he hasn't done anything this series notable. Spurs have his a$$ on lockdown.

They stop Lebron and the rest of the team cannot make up the difference.


And Spurs Green has Miami puzzled. They dont know what to do with him.

Nice win by the Spurs tonight. This is going to be very interesting going back to Miami. No question teams seem to play better in front of their home crowd. Calls tend to lean toward the home team.

I think Miami has what it takes to get it done, but the Spurs have been very good at countering everything Miami has tried to do. Either way this has been one of the better NBA Finals in terms of skill of both teams. Game 6 should be good. I think there will be a Game 7 and that will be very interesting.

Going to be decent to see how Miami retaliates in back to back must-win situations...at home

No one has mentioned the coaching.

Spurs coaching has been dead on.

Adjustments when needed.

Seems Miami players call the game while the Spurs let the coach really coach the team.

does not need to be said, look at his stats as coach and the championships. Poppa is a master of the game and todays athletes, they dont even seem like the thugs the rest of the nba has.

Miami Coach during a timeout "ok guys we are looking good right now after this timeout " get the ball to Lebron, ok everyone got that"

If the Spurs do end up winning the Series. Danny Green should probably be the MVP. We will have to see what happens in the last game or two. But hitting all those big Three Pointers really hurt Miami. I personally think it has been the difference in the series so far.

I think miamis coach is going to get fired. This guy just doesnt have it to coach a team like that.
