Sandy, do you like living in orlando? I considered moving there many times.

I do not live in Orlando. Do not move to Orlando itself. It is full of crime, weirdos, perverts, sex offenders and race issues.

I live outside of Orlando in a smaller safe town. :)

I'm trying to save enough to go to Bora Bora (st Regis resort)

Go to Paradise then.

Outsandingly beautiful but expensive place.

Over the water bures. Different sizes. Hotel staff come around by (small) out-rigger canoes with supplies etc
Most of these bures have in-glass panels which allow direct sight of the ocean below & fish swimming about.

Simply magic. ( And expensive). Bures themselves are GIANT size.

Last time I was over, my brother, a friend and I decided we wanted to have a go at a shooting range in downtown Orlando. When we turned up, the place was right across from a penitentiary and had a bail bond place next door to it. There were loads of dodgy folk hanging about outside. Needless to say, we left quickly.

I love the area. Golf, roller coasters, shopping and good food - you can't beat it.

I'm going again at the end of September for 11 days of golf and coasters.

I agree orlando itself is not great.

I almost moved to lake mary. That seemed like a nice town. Beautiful homes. Not far from nice beach.

That's so sad to hear. Havent scoped out the city yet but was hoping to hear better.

All the fun is in south orlando. Nearby beaches are great.

Miami is a 4h drive.

Orlando itself is not that exciting except for museums, restaurants & stadium.

Tons to do as a tourists.

As a resident, like sandy said, there are nice small towns around giving you quiet, sunny lifestyle.
