You could have knocked me over with a feather when opened the package that arrived for me and found New frute brute and yummy mummy cereal inside! I haven't seen fruit brute since 1983 and yummy mummy bowed out in 91.

Yes this for real I called GM(general mills.) just to be sure they weren't custom boxes like I've seen lately like angry birds cereal for example.

- those made it to Canada but Boo Berry didnt last.

Fruit Brute and Yummy Mummy didnt make it (if I recall correctly) - would have loved to try

OMG! I was just talking to someone about yummy mummy the other day, they had never heard of it, we are the same age so I dont know how a kid of the 80's did not know about yummy mummy, my favorite was always Boo Berry but it tastes different now than it used to. I hope the Yummy Mummy tastes the same!

At first I thought it wasn't for real till I found a chocula box with a sports cartoon on the back of the box showing all five monsters. Yummy Mummy is orange cream flavored and frute brute is cherry flavored. These guys haven't been on shelves for 30 some odd years. Now if Ralston would bring back the Freakies!

What old long gone cereal did you guys enjoy back in the day?

I really liked baron von red berry.
