Think of what the controversy would be if FSU wins the championship and 1 month later their star QB gets formally brought up on rape charges.

Most teams would have suspended him until it was investigated.
How nice they are holding off charging him.

Still got my $$ on the Chiefs to win it all. Grandma needs to sew up the holes in the WR/TE hands. But none the less. I like the adversity this team it going to be put through. From worst to first in my opinion. Be interesting to see how it all plays out.

How nice they are holding off charging him. | Yea, it is still a B.S. charge. FSU and Ohio State will be a travesty as the National Championship. Clearly the winner of the SEC and Pac 12 should play. These other conferences are a joke. I know next year it goes to a 4 team playoff it really needs to be at-least a 6 preferably and 8.

Hard to pass over any team who will win 25 games in a row and not get to a championship game.
What happens is Missouri wins the SEC?

If their defense can handle offenses like Pats, Broncos etc they might do well.

What happens is Missouri wins the SEC? | If they beat Aurburn they should be in. As much as I hate to say it. Alabama really should play whoever the winner of the SEC Championship game is. I mean I give FSU and OSU credit for winning the games. But they don't really play anyone. SEC is the gold standard in college football right now. They should have atleast one team in the National Championship game.
Even though it is only 4 teams next year. The playoff will help determine this much better. I still would prefer 6 or 8. But at-least it is headed in the right direction.

SEC has fallen off a bit this year I think. LSU is not that strong, etc.
SEC gets a lot of speed and that is what helps them. Other teams are grabbing many who would have went the an SEC team the last year or so.
Urban Meyer has many Florida players looking at going to Ohio St now because he recruited Florida to pieces as we know.

They're changing the format for 2014 to allow the top 4 teams into a 'playoff' type system to determine champion.
For years, the BCS format was criticized for allowing polls and computers to dictate the champion instead of allow the decision to be made on the field of play.
Often times, the BCS would get it right and the top 2 teams would rightly play at the end for the title, but there were many years of people screaming that the wrong teams were playing.
Hopefully the 4 team playoff works out better.

BCS has been a total disaster actually.
I do believe the SEC has been the strong conference for sure but the BCS has actually favored them many times when they should not have.
Many SEC teams got into BCS bowl games and played scrub teams and won and everyone jumps on the bandwagon.
I like college football better then the pros, far more interesting and exciting to watch special games.
Atmosphere at a college game is simply amazing.
Attend one Rsot and you will see.
Go down to Ohio St and see for yourself. Awesome atmosphere.
When Florida was the best for several years the Swamp was an amazing place to be for games.
Was at LSU one year for Florida-LSU and that was one special time.

Poor coaching by Urban Meyer.
Ohio St had second half momentum and came out slinging and got the lead.
Then he lets off the peddle and tries be to conservative like an idiot.
It cost them the game.
Never let go of momentum and never be conservative in an important game when the Michigan St D was lost and did not know what to do.
Fla St and Auburn will be a high scoring 40-50 points to win game.

Fla St and Auburn will be a high scoring 40-50 points to win game. | Like I said before. Ohio State never played anyone. Even Florida State is the same way. ACC is not a good football conference. It is very weak. I expect Auburn to absolutely crush Florida State in the National Championship game. I can't stand the SEC but it is without doubt the best Conference in the NCAA.
Personally I would like expanded playoffs, or a flex schedule for top ranked teams. FSU won their games so I guess they deserve it even though they will get killed. But it is a travesty because Alabama and Auburn should probably be having a rematch.
