What does it take in order to get a business license?

I need a business license for some companies in order to purchase products from them at wholesale costs. Such as MA Labs.

does having a business license require you to file income tax on your "business" at the end of the year?

Some of the big company require business license in order to sell the product to you. I'm thinking of getting. Please share what are the advantages and disadvantages of having a business license.

Bra, I don't think you need a business license man. I think all you need is a Federal Tax ID number and a State Tax number. The first one is free. You might get by without the 2nd one (I usually see it optional anyway).

getting the EIN takes less than 10 minutes and pretty much automatically approved.
