Blackhawks are like the Yankees. You gotta bet on the house. I have made a living in the sports apparel world doing so. Blackhawks vs Canadians in the Finals. If I were in Nevada you would bet your ass I got that bet going. Especially with the Canadians being down 2-0. I almost want to drive to Reno tonight to bet on this series.

Give the Kings Credit. They battled back from down 0-3 vs the Sharks in the first round. Blackhawks put up a valiant fight. More than likely in my opinion Quick and the Kings will have the Stanley cup once again.

Its just to bad it isn't a Canadian team or Blackhawks/Hockey market team. Being from California even though L.A. is far away from here. Nobody will really care if they win. I have grown to respect hockey.

To me that is like watching the Florida Marlins win two world series nobody shows up to the games until the are in the NLCS. Pretty sad. You have about 8-10 markets that have great attendance. Everyone is is fair weather fans.

Like always I am happy for those hard core fans that show up all the time. But it is always nice to see a City/Team win that really supports their teams through thick and thin enjoy it.

Kings have so much offense - so many stars - Rangers don't compare in the department. Could be a sweep if not 4-1 Kings

Still something to be said about making the Stanley Cup. Lundqvist I agree is going to have to have a hell of a series. But you never know.

I think they are going to need to be like the 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates in baseball. Won the W.S. 4-3. When they lost they got creamed by 8-10 runs. The games the won it was 2-1, or 4-3. I expect the Rangers to have to pull off a similar stunt. Obviously very rare in sports. I am referencing something 30+ years before I was born.
