Windows software is all the CP1215 knows - like other entry-level lasers over the years, it's a host-based printer that uses Windows' (2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista) own imaging facilities instead of a printer language like PostScript or PCL. Mac and Linux users must cross the HP off

That's the one reason why I haven't bought a Mac yet... it's incompatible with most software I use.
