A friend told me he ordered it either last night or the other night on Amazon at midnight. There was a bundle deal for the Kindle Fire + PS4. He should get it soon. Plans on flipping it, I think.

I don't know if that Amazon deal is still going on.

I'm with you mcmx. I usually wait until the console has a decent library of games available to play and they stop making quality games for the previous console.

I don't need to be the cool kid w/ the hottest gadget :)

Really...only would get it now to flip it...knowing Sony, there will be system updates in few months and flaws to fix...unless you're a heavy gamer, which I am not...I wouldnt buy to keep but what's the Amazon deal about? hmm

Was at best buy last night and a line up of 100s of people.

Why the hype.

Do people really have that much time on their hands to play a game console that much?

I enjoy gaming but these people were lined up like they were going to get something golden.

Same people who can afford to stand in line for new apple products or wait in line for a $180 pair of sneakers that cost $15 which an 8 year old kid put together...good times!

The console is not resell for as well as i thought. there seem to be too much inventory right now...

selling for 575-650 on ebay which after fees and shipping idk if its even worth it.

I live in the DFW area and it was reported on this evening's news that Dez Bryant (Dallas Cowboy player) was at a local Walmart and purchased the PS4 for several random customers. I wish I had been one of those lucky, random shoppers so I could have flipped it! Talk about being at the right place at the right time. :doh:

I bought 10 on preorder got 6 last night and 4 today. Ordered 20 xbox 1. That comes out next week. Cant wait. Sold 8 of the ps4 in same day. People love these. Lmao. I should have bought over 100 of each. That was plan but did not. Man im kicking myself now. What a profit

If you think those queues are mad, you should have seen the ones in London for the Isabel Marant pour H&M collection on Thursday. People were queuing from 7:30 the night before. The stores only opened at 09:10 the next day

That is still about 25% profit...but yes price dropped very quickly on the flipping market.
