Question about shipping reports
 

Got a question, THis is the first year that I have actually made any money on ebay and I have kept track of reciepts for my inventory and supplies however I didnt keep track of postage printed. Does anyone know how to find a report on Paypal or Ebay that will show me how much I have paid to usps for the year? I used transaction finder but it will only go back 90 days.

I would not mind knowing either!

Though I want to say you can't? Maybe if you added the actual postage cost (from recent sales) and then went to your past years archive, otherwise I am unsure.

You can go back more than 90 days. You have to change the searchable dates. It will likely be very time consuming getting it exact.

95% of my shipping is done via USPS using the eBay/PP shipping. So I keep the half print out receipt for every order I ship. I put it in a pile. I tell myself I am going to add them up every month. But like twice a year. I go through and by hand add up all my shipping receipts. All the UPS and FedEx shipping I do. I keep a spreadsheet to keep track of.

Probably a better way to do it. I just don't know how.

Ok I figured it out,
Reports - Transaction finder
Then search for USPS
Types of Transactions - Purchases - Payments Sent

I was getting errors about the date range being longer than 90 days so I was thinking I could only go back 90 days but I can search the whole year I just have to break it up into 90 increments, thanks for the tip about the searchable dates.

Be warned though when you download into excel it has each label listed twice once as initiated and one as purchased but the total at the bottom seems to be correct
