I never have and never will ship to any customer without a confirmed and listed address.

Most here wont either.

haven't shipped to unconfirmed addresses in about 5 years. well, with PP i won't. with other services it's not nearly as bad.

i will say it has cost me a decent amount of sales, but it's just not worth all the headaches. you get used it and adjust your business accordingly. plus it's nice not waking up to bullsh!t "item not received" claims every morning. seriously used to wake up to handfuls of those every week before i just couldn't take the scamming any more.

Will Not ship to unconfirmed address, I don't care who they are....I rather lose a sale.

I learned that the hard way many moons ago.. if you ship to an unconfirmed address be ready for headaches!!

They let you know in green letters once you receive payment if they are confirmed or not.

There is also a note under the address when you print the label that will say something about the shipment not being protected.

Yeah but if you cancel the transaction can't they leave negative feedback?

They can but if you tell the buyer to please confirm their location they most likely will. On my listings I have it in bold and large font
"WILL NOT SHIP TO UNCONFIRMED ADDRESS, NO EXCEPTION" I literally have it in several places so there's no way they can't miss it.

Just change the option in your PP account to not accept unconfirmed addresses. That way no one can ever pay you without a confirmed address. It will just deny them until they put one in.
