Petition to Split California Into Six States Gets Green Light
 

Not sure how many CA residents are on this site. Not sure about splitting the state up into 6 pieces. But I will most definitely be signing this petition if I see it. This damn state is too big. The North gets f**d over by the population base in the South. The Coastal area f**ks over Central and and the Eastern part of the state. Takes damn 12 hours to drive from the Oregon border to the Mexican border. After driving twice the past two year from SF area to Phoenix and to Vegas. I realize what this guy is trying to do. But Shasta county and San Diego or Eureka and L.A. have nothing in common. This state is insane. It is time for a change.

Six states is too much of a division - perhaps 2-3...if at all

don't see this happening. its a waste of time and will cause a lot of confusion when gps and other stuff

Cannot see that happening to be honest, much like Scotland receding from the Union. Both highly improbable.

If it did though, would you get more stars on your flag? Any idea what the names would be of the new states?

North Cali - South Cali - a state named Eureka would be funny...ironically.

Lot of things make it on the ballot - regardless of State - lot of things fail too hah

Interested to see if it gets on the ballot.

Lots of animosity in the Central Valley and Northern Cali toward LA area. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this makes the ballot.
