Default 2014 MLB Season getting close

Opening day is about a week away. Dodgers spanked the D'Backs in Australia. I love the routine of MLB baseball season. 6 days a week get to watch my Giants while I do all my packaging for the evening.

I don't think most even die hard fans watch every game. Just nice to have in the background while you are doing other work.

Whole set up spanked the wallets of the spectators....

Stadium was bluidy brilliant. It was hardly recognizable as being in OZ.

But, the catering crew were charging US$33 for a two-foot long hot dog. ANd did not even have genuine USA mustard to smother all over it.

Rip off

Attendance seemed to be up a lot at spring training games this year compared to last year.

Last year you could get any seat you wanted at many stadiums and this year you could not at most of them.

Good sign.

81 Expos were legit. Before my time. But losing in the NLCS to the Dodgers. I absolutely hate the Dodgers. There are very few things in life I hate more than the Dodgers and their fans.

Was sad to see them go - that strike really killed any good chance of a potential pennant too - way back in the 90s

That is right. Had a solid team that strike year.

Happens when fans want victory more than the players.

You should have came down to Dunedin Fl to see the Jays game for spring training. And pick up several others ballparks in an easy driving distance.

Kershaw already on the DL. Lotta money tied up in him for the Dodgers.

I know the Jays sound like your team. Nothing against the Grapefruit league. But if you go to spring training in AZ. All the parks are within about a 45 minute drive of each other that is if you aren't going anywhere in direct phoenix traffic. If you ask MLB players who played in both. Hands down like Tim Hudson said for the Giants this year. AZ league is so much easier and less demanding on travel than Florida.
