How to manage employees posting and warehousing?
 

I'm curious how you folks with employees, are managing your postings over a series of your stealth accounts. I'm slowly training 2 new employees to do strictly posting and another 2 strictly for shipping.

Am interested in hearing how your work flow and business is set up as far as multiple stealth accounts.

How many stealth accounts are you running at one time? One warehouse? How many items are you shipping a day? How many skews?

I run several facilities in many states and most I have never set a foot in. When you reply I will send you a PM with my process.

- 1 wh for the moment
- 80-100 skus but always changing depending on truckload goods.

I have one employee who does most of my picture taking, sorting, cleaning and prep, measurements etc.

Does some packing but I am picky because I sell a ton of antiques and breakable items.

Since you work with mainly new items it will be much easier for you to get it set up.

Since I dont like to operate my business from home other then the computers everything is at my warehouse.

When I owned my manufacturing business managing employees starts with a good interview and records check. You cannot pay people if you have to do their work and thinking for them.

Hire an older person with skills you need. Work ethic is much better.

I pay by performance(extremely over paid, but I get the results I am looking for) and my shippers are responsible for mistakes. This basically eliminates mistakes. I train via video and screenshots. I typically do not hire a person, but a company who also has an employye or two) By definition, I do not have a single employee. Every person I work with has there own company that gets paid for a variety of reason.
