Your getting a Post Paid Plan that is why you need to show a DL , I have one of these plans

It's basically a month to month contract, where you pay after the month of service

I don't know much about their plans, but if what you say here is correct, then it's not PREpaid like OP says and that is indeed why they must show ID.

There is a bit of confusion here between these 2 posts...

There is a difference you have POSTPAID PLANS which the OP is dealing with at walmart and PREPAID plans

And I have a Walmart plan the OP is speaking of and it is not prepaid it is postpaid that is why they need ID

I only got it because it was cheap, no point in giving identification unless your paying for a phone month by monthy ( the actual phone expensive one). Must be part of government to have identity on everybody. Im returning it.

They need ID because it's not prepaid, you will get billed monthly after usage, that's why they call it postpaid plan.

It is a great plan, I have it for an unlocked samsung Note 3 and every month it comes to the same exact price , the plan is 39.99 and after taxes it's 48.52 every month, for unlimited everything , well the data Is 5GB I think which is unlimited to me

But if you don't pay a month they need your ID to send the monthly bill to and if you don't pay they need to know who's debt they are selling off

Your looking for a prepaid phone, where you pay before you use it and once the money runs out the service is cut off right away

But the postpaid is basically a regular plan , just month to monh contract and extremely cheap compared to verizon

My bill went from $232 on average a month with verizon and I'd always get dpsurprise bills every other month for some BS of $350 or $450, absolutely crazy for cell phone plan, and I went to the walmart postpaid with unlimited minutes, text and data for $48 a month

I don't need the internet. All I want is talk and text. I rather go to simple mobile for 25 bucks a month you get unlimited talk and text and no id required. Thanks guys for the info.

Most wireless customers are familiar with the big-name brands in Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Relatively few buyers, though, are as well-versed when it comes to the topic of Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO). https://loginportal.live/target-gues...action-survey/

Weird that they only posted three times, in a week, so it's not like they are padding their post count or something lol
