We will see if Mahomes can still have explosive stats without one of the most dangerous wide receivers now...I knew the Chiefs wouldn't be able to retain everyone.
After a couple of years of the Broncos trying to get Aaron Rogers and couldn't they traded the farm to get Russell Wilson it will be interesting to see how it pans out for them this year with it getting underway. | Tyreek Hill was a decent deal - Russell Wilson hard push could be a bummer - you're right about the Chiefs getting high stats...to be seen

Last week was a memorable week that I will never forget and neither will any Sportsbook
The 49ers, Bengals, Panthers, Colts, Packers, Titans, and Broncos were all favored and not only could they not cover the spread but none of them was even able to win the game.
It not only happened with many upsets like that in the NFL last week but also the NCAA as well Nebraska was a -23 favorite along with Note Dame was a -21 favorite, and Texas A&M were -17.5 favorites. None of those powerhouse schools not only couldn't come anywhere close to covering those spreads but were not able to win the game either.
There was a fortune lost between all those upsets I have no doubt.
Mahomes went 30/39 with 360 Yards and 5 TD's against the Cardinals, Showing he can still play just as good if not better without Tyreek Hill.

Week 6, Week 7, and Week 8 had almost 20 favored teams that not only couldn't cover there spreads but weren't able to win the game...That does not happen often in the NFL with so many upsets like that in just 3 consecutive weeks.
The NFC has really been turned upside down so far almost everyone thought the Packers, Bucs, and Rams who won the Super Bowl last year would be the top guns.
Packers are now 3-6, Bucs are now 4-5, and the Rams are currently 3-5.
Tom Brady really slumped but had a sick win last week against the Rams he threw for over 50 pass attempts without almost getting a touchdown and that has never happened in his long career until he was able to at the tail end of the game with .47 seconds left on the clock in the 4th quarter..Brady never scored a touchdown so quickly with so little time left before he set a record with his 55th game winning drive doing that.
The Buccaneers still have a great chance to get into the Playoffs considering how awful the NFC South is this year.
It will be interesting to see them play in a few hours the first ever regular season NFL game in Germany.
I was also thrilled that the Chiefs defeated the Titans last week, There the only team so far to have ever held Mahomes to under 10 points in a regular season game and just only doing it once last year in 2021.

When he went down he only got that one leg down but might not haven been all the way in where it would count as a catch and even so I still think it's humorous it was called a catch when the ball was shifting around to much as he hit the ground out of bounds. It didn't even look like he had possession of the ball from when he made contact with it and went down.

That game the other day where the Vikings mounted the biggest comeback ever in NFL history against the Colts being down 33 to 0 and with 8:30 left on the clock in the 3rd Quarter where the Vikings later came back and WON was really something to see.
Matt Ryan is now a part of the losing end of the biggest comebacks ever in the Super Bowl and now a regular season game. No Saturday or Sunday game will ever be a sadder day for that man.
The Chiefs winning yesterday against the Texans clinched the divisional title for 7 years in a row now and that has only been done by 3 teams so far the other 2 were the Rams and Patriots.

Patrick Mahomes is not only playing on a good vibe but way better then most have expected.
Mahomes has obliterated league records now for any quarterback within there first 75 games as a starter, know one has matched him and he is MaHOME ALONE!
The fact that he is the fastest player ever to 20,000 passing yards doing it within 67 games when he only played 1 game his rookie year and also was injured and missed games in 2019 is SHOCKING.
With Mahomes being a starting quarterback for five seasons he's now topped 5,000 yards and at least 40 touchdowns in two of them the only other player to have ever done that having multiple 5,000 yard and 40 plus touchdown seasons was Drew Brees and it took him twelve seasons to do that and only accomplishing that twice in his entire career.
With KC defeating Denver yesterday makes it 15 consecutive times in a row that the Chiefs have beaten the Broncos.

It's unfair to the Chiefs and also to the Bills because now if they meet in the Playoffs they will have to play at a neutral field. The NFL really botched that by ruling and canceling it without replaying that Bills and Bengals game where they left off. It is really puzzling that they did that because there has been players in the past that were paralyzed during the game without the game getting cancelled and the player that was carted on a stretcher off the field could never walk right ever again let alone be able to play again.

I'm still laughing at how the Packers started the year upside down and played it awful with over two thirds of it over then being able to heat up and winning giving them one last chance to win there last game of season all they had to do was win and they were in the Playoffs and couldn't get it done at Lambeau against the Lions.
That Charger and Jaguar game the other day was something that doesn't happen often, The Chargers had them and then blew a 27 point lead. After Trevor Lawrence bounced back from throwing four interceptions in the first half he later lead his team to the third largest comeback in NFL Playoff history.

You can learn a lot about a team when there season is on the line and there without there MVP quarterback.....
Playoff Chad does it again against the Jaguars just like he did against the Browns 2 years ago because Henne thing is possible.
Chiefs defeated the Jaguars just like they did against the Browns when the best player in all of football statistically speaking through 5 seasons was on the sidelines.
When Mahomes was on the sideline throwing things and a tantrum for not letting him come back in and play Andy Reid finally gave in and put him back in the game, That was so dangerous playing him hurt like that. Even on one leg Patrick Mahomes would not be denied with him hobbling around and still being able to WIN.
I don't know of any other player who was ever able to play on one leg and hurt like that except Terrell Owens in Super Bowl 39
If Mahomes wanted to retire early like Andrew Luck did he would probably still get inducted into the HOF given how no one has matched his stats within there first 5 seasons as a starter and being able to get to the AFC Championship Conference game 5 straight times now from when first being able to start a season as a starter.

It was rumored that Garoppolo might be playing later today but it appears that he is still injured, Even if he was healthy it would be foolish to start him over the red hot Brock Purdy in fact that man has been playing lights out and hasn't even lost a game yet, I would not bench him. If he meets the Chiefs in the Super Bowl I almost certainly wouldn't bench him because when Garoppolo squared off against the Chiefs earlier this season the 49ers got stomped 44 to 23.
Mahomes proved that he is better on one leg than most QB's are completely healthy, I sure hope he isn't still injured when he plays later today because I'm not sure if he can beat the Bengals like he did the Jags not being 100%. His 1 legged stats were 12 of 18 for 118 yards with a touchdown.
