Taking good photos??

So as I sell jewellery... I need good photos. I bought a lightbox off ebay but still for the life of me, the photos are turning out crappy. Any hints? :deadhorse:

For jewellery, it's more of suppressing the lighting so the reflection doesnt kill the shot

Thanks, have been youtubing lol Still, I think I need to get better lamps than what came in the kit.
