Default Stealth friendly tablet

I'm looking at buying a tablet. It will mainly be used for searching the web, playing silly games etc nothing serious.

I would ideally like to be able to access stealth accounts in case my laptop is down/broken/not in the vicinity/ on holiday etc.

Any recommendations?

Budget up to £250 ideally!

If you're looking for a complete plan b you could get a tablet or phone on a contract with a 3g or 4g connection, that way if your internet is down you have a second call. I'm not sure on the prices, but if you look for tablets and phones which are the one down from the newest, then you can get cheap deals.

For example when the S4 was released I got a S3 for £15/m unlimited everything apart from minutes and £79.99 for the handset(At the time iPhones and S4 were like £35+/m) The S3 handset was still very highly priced at this time. If you're getting the tablet for free/cheap it might be worth paying £15-20 a month.

Get a cheap Android tablet with wifi if you're mindful about the IP address. Use different browsers for your accounts and you'll be okay. Just I wouldn't recommend using the eBay/PayPal apps as they're only good for ONE account.

@aapkin, To be honest I'm leaning towards android, simply because they are cheaper and.i know how they work. (definitely no apps)

@gb, currently using a older model experia phone, I use it for alot of groundwork (i'd be lost without it) the tablet is something i'm buying anyway. It'l save me transfering the laptoo around the house and keep the missus happy. I use a dongle for stealth so i'm leaninf towards a 3g tablet.

@sheva, I'm money efficient, I always use that technique

@rsot, nice groundwork, will investigate once im at my laptop!
