I was wondering can ebay get users ip addresses on here or not?
reason i ask cos one user told someone he was not in the UK but was registered on here as UK:confused:

When you say on here...you mean on this forum?

No. Unless aspkin has it in for us all :laugh:

eBay can only see IP addresses of the websites they own or have a partnership with (eBay, Paypal, half.com, Stubhub, etc.)

They have no interest or have any way of seeing IP addresses on a forum.

ABSOLUTELY Not!

Forum Admin has access to that, so we can keep the forum spammer free.

Most forums have a lot of spam, but we keep this place nice and tidy for our members. :)

Have never worried about this - forum has been open during eB sessions without any issues at all for long time

eBay cannot see the IP address you use on this forum, and they never will be able to. Nothing to worry about.
