Was wondering if anybody else here uses this to flash router. I just did and was pulling 3 mbps befre flash now pulling 30 mbps. Of course this is the home non stealth internet.

How come when logged into the router you are able to see and ban Mac addresses. If you can then how come ebay paypal and amazon can't. I'm going to test it out and play with it. Ban one of my devices then spoof the mac and see if I can access it.

Easy answer to that is...only your ISP can see the MAC address of your modem and router (next device).
Unless Amazon/PP/Ebay are connected to your home LAN, then they're not seeing the MAC of any of your devices.
As packets get transmitted across devices and multiple hops, each device only holds the MAC address of the neighboring device.

This old router now has a built in VPN, a radius server client, VoIP, ... to mention a few.
Good point. It is very useful to use re-use old routers and flash them with dd-wrt. You can then use that old router as a bridge or repeater to enhance your home LAN.

Surprisingly, the wireless signal is more powerful than a regular wireless device. I have very good coverage with this device. You can also crank up the signal if need be, love it.
