I just type "ip address" and google tells me in the search results. No need to go to another website. Not sure if it will for ips outside of usa.

Yes that works for UK google as well..

I actually just set a whatmyip webpage as homepage, so it tells me straight away. No need to type in etc.

Same here as well for chrome browser except its google now since it loads faster than any other site I had previously tried. For firefox I use a small plugin called display ip address that someone mentioned on here. It displays my ip address right next to my address bar everytime I open firefox. If the ip changes it alerts me about the change. I couldnt find a similar plugin for chrome.

sometimes when a website doesnt work, try a different browser, 99% of the time solves the problem.

If your adamant to get on a site and its not working, to check if the site is actually down, just go to Down For Everyone Or Just Me -> Check if your website is down or up? - works a treat

Thanks, I haven't visit that website so far.

Using different browser helps me too in such cases.

Its working fine for me the only problem im having is the recorded ip's on the side of the page are go away very qucikly and sometimes not even showing at all!!!
