Hello fellow Aspkin members,
First, I want to thank to all of those who donated for the 2013 Walk!

I come to you with something near to my heart. In 2011 my Wife's Great Niece (Megan) passed away from Hydrocephalus also known as "Water in the Brain" She was diagnosed at the young age of 8 and went through countless operations, unfortunately it was not enough.

What exactly is Hydrocephalus?
Wikipedia defines it in the following way:
Hydrocephalus[a] /ˌhaɪdrɵˈsɛfələs/, also known as "water on the brain," is a medical condition in which there is an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the ventricles, or cavities, of the brain. This may cause increased intracranial pressure inside the skull and progressive enlargement of the head, convulsion, tunnel vision, and mental disability. Hydrocephalus can also cause death. Although it does occur in older adults, it is more common in infants.

After Megan's passing my Wife and her Niece started attending the Hydrocephalus Association Walk to help raise funds to help those diagnosed with this condition.

I have also decided to join them in this walk and I have set a goal of $250 to help with this worthy cause.

I know how it feels.

Just a FYI.. you WILL reach your goal one way or another.. we're going to make this happen even if I have to donate the remaining $230 myself.. it's happening.

Thank you to all who donated...especially Aspkin, GreenBean, and rayraymond1218 who donated. Unfortunately we won't be going to the Walk due to monetary issues BUT I will be wearing a TUTU This weekend just for these 3 donators!

I am trully grateful to have wonderful people on this forum who cared to donate. Tomorrow I will be shopping for the TUTU.....

Happy to report MM78 submitted his gear as requested. As this is a family forum, we compromised with his dress.

Not wishing women & children & rsot to be scared by a tutu, this is the outfit worn.
