IOS8 release
 

The new software update became available in the States a few hours ago, I'm downloading it now on my IPAD AIR , it is supposed to have significant changes

Here's the download description:

This update is the biggest release since the launch of the App Store, with hundreds of new features including new Messages and Photos features, QuickType keyboard, a new Health app, Family Sharing, iCloud Drive and more.

I'm excited but it always seems to be minor things, I'll find out in few more minutes

Yesterday early evening was the release in the UK, 2 minutes after launch it was instantly a near to 2 hour download.

The size of the 6 PLUS as well while were on the subject of Apple is massive, its 1/4 inch bigger than the Samsung NOTE.....not for me I am afraid.

The normal sized i6 looks nice though!

I just switched over to my iPad mini, the iPad air is almost finished , it just needed to turn off and on and it's downloading still , almost there

I know the iPhone 6'will benefit the most from the new software but I gotta think that the iPad Air will be able to use a lot of the new features pretty well

I'm actually going to get the samsung note 4 , I think it either just came out or will be out soon

No sense gettin an iPhone , I have the mini and the Air and they are pretty much an iPhone just all different sizes, and now with 4 GLTE , making phone calls come in clear with the apps, way different than 3 G when all u could get is text messages and some static when u made a call

The IOS8 is really neat, so many changes , and I probably just seen hardly anything, just texting alone is so nice your next word is already predicted, you just type a letter and there are three choices to choose from, it's definitely not the normal prediction function it actually knows what you will type before you start

Now I think I might go with the iPhone 6

I have an iPhone 4 (non-Siri) so my phone isn't eligible for iOS 8. :tears: I'm going to get an iPhone 6 (not sure which one yet) after the first of the year when our contract with T-Mobile expires. :dance: We may switch to Verizon in January.
