Weather conditions meant our supposed state of the art radios cut out. There was no reception.
A kinda surreal silence.
Then the howl of the beast as it screamed over our containment lines.
A precious home was lost. No lives, PTL.
And back today.

From the station to the site, about 50 miles.
I did crew pick up so I ended up driving closer to 90 miles. Then we went up in convoy.
