reserving seats at school play _RAGE
 

so I am really annoyed, I go to nativity and the few seats left are 'reserved' by other parents, for the rest of thier family or friends, not just 1 seat but a coat over a row of 3 or more!

If I turn up on time, I expect to get a seat, it is first come first served. Plus they look at you as if to say, 'why are you asking'....ok so I created a scene upon being refused for the second time....

it also had happened before on a ticketed play at the school, which is worse, you buy a ticket and turn up on time ie before play starts, not ages before to get front row etc....

scene caused, we were ushered to 2 seats that miraculously appeared, ie some fat cow shifted her fat arse....and I look like the baddie....anyway mini agreed with me afterwards, so that is all that counts, and said she would have not performed had I not obtained seats.........

I feel like creating more dramas over this at school ............fuming really badly......and to top it all, 1st people I asked, I actually know, obviously not well enough as they people they reserved it for were just a bunch of other parents, 1 turning up half-way through....................christmas is cancelled.

OMG How can you reserve seats in a school play?
I thought it was 'first come first serve'

I am not joking , I am as mad as hell, tyre-slashing mad - well what am I supposed to do, sit on their coat? the first people said it is reserved and I just stood there and they looked at me like I was invisible....

Oh geez i feel your pain.

I went off on one because they wouldn't move there crap off the spare seats so i said fine i sat on the guys lap and he soon made space :pound:

anyway I was humiliated, everyone staring and whispering, and I like to make an entrance as I look pretty glam of an evening, but not like this........

then when I sat down, there was fart smells and someone was burping garlic...just saying, hold it in your spanks til you get home......

Never feel bad or embarrassed about making a scene when faced with mass ignorance . Just because it is popular custom to be selfish and ignorant, does not make you wrong for recognizing it. You stood up for yourself when faced with a clear injustice. There is never anything wrong with that. The only time you should feel bad is if you let it happen.

Who cares what any of the ignorant idiots think of you. It is a compliment to you if they think poorly of you. If in their logic it is okay to be selfish then they must be applying that same flawed logic to any judgement of you.

I have friends who couldn't get tickets to see their son and daughter in the nativity in the UK. Said they could buy a DVD of it for £5 at a later date!

Some friend of a friends aunties grandmas neighbour, who was there gave up their seat. Crazy
