Guy opens a store to resell groceries
 

Pretty cool......Guy from Vancouver buys groceries at trader joes in a van, and drives them back to vancouver and resells them at his own store. Trader Joe does not like this and sued him, and the suits were dismissed. He says even though trader joe says on the packaging not to be resold anywhere else, etc, the owner says that is not a law, and that he has the right to resell anything he owns.

Awesome idea. Solution to a problem = profit. Doesn't matter what it is.

What he's doing happens all the time. A product is available somewhere, but not another and one person or persons simply imports it where people want it and are willing to pay the markup price.

Its annoying in Vancouver. A certain group of store owners are like locusts. They buy all of everything good, like chocolates or meat, then you have do rain cheques if you are lucky. Our groceries cost way more up here than yours. People do that with things like cherry coke we can't get it here, so they drive to bellingham (which I have no problem with). I'd prefer they drive to the states and buy it all up from there!!
