What is your currently your favourite activity in January of 2015
 

Hey guys,

I was wondering what you guys are doing to enjoy your time in January of 2015!

Are you guys taking part in winter activities, or staying indoors and having family time or dining out at a restaurant? Picked up a new instrument?

Taking care of my sick girls - all three of my ladies (wife and 2 girls...).

It's cold so my favorite time is weekend time with friends and family. That makes for movie going, paintball, board and card game nights, etc. After the holidays there is tons of work to catch up to.. working on that in the early mornings when everyone else is sleep and not a distraction is actually fun. :)

Alrighty,

I have been spending a lot of time with my mom and younger brother.

I happened to go on date with a pretty cool and pretty girl. We had a couple beers and watched the Hockey Junior Finals. Canada won! :) We are gonna go to ripley's aquarium in toronto next week; I love marine animals! I think she may be the one, fingers crossed. haha.

I bought a 20 minute flight over toronto, gonna take my family and I think it should be awesome. Never been on a flight like this before!

Along with snowmobiling tickets at blue mountain (northern ontario), I think im gonna go with my cousin. Again, never been snowmobiling in my life!!

At the very end of the month I am going to cuba with my close friends. I have never travelled outside of Canada before (Buffalo, NY is the farthest lol). so it will be a really different experience!

Lots of things im doing that I have never done, so im very excited haha.

So how bout you GreenBean?

Aspkin, its funny you say that. I also like to work in the mornings. From around 7 till 2pm max, or late at night from 11pm till 3am max.

What kind of card games? Cards against humanity? I heard a lot of good things about this game haha. .

As for movies,I watched the hobbit (last month), I am very pleased, a lot better than the first 2 parts!

Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's a great way to be spending your time. You will LOVE snowmobiling. It's aces. Blue Mountain is beautiful too. Been there so look for my marks ;). travel is the best thing to do. Make sure you have your shots, travel insurance AND enjoy yourself. I'll look forward to your report on Cuba. It's an everchanging place. You are going to love their old vintage American made autos.

This month, I have been busy sorting out packed boxes in the house. (only been there for centuries). Man, what stuff is in them :eek:

Doing much training with my 13 month old puppy. He is under consideration for going off to Europe. ( If he behaves & that's a remote chance).

Have two grudge Paintball matches this week. Hoping for the rain to continue to make the groumd nice & muddy so the others can fall over.

Put in a new oven so need to bake for a birthday party to test it. ( Not mine).

Did the work rooster and wondered why it was not working. Forgot x2 places so that meant I needed to start over again OR spend my time doing double shifts.

Have to sew up the Summer gear for online sales.

And find some time to sleep. Month is only in its 2nd week and I am at least 2 days down on sleep.

Overall, I think your month is more exciting, Darwin.

I am enjoying a cruise to Alaska at this moment, I really hope I dont get any returns on stuff. I will be gone all month, when this cruise comes back into harbor on the 14th (Seattle), I drive down to San Diego to set sail for a another that hits Panama canal. 1st time on any cruise ship.

The Alaska route is with my sister and her 2 kids. The Panama route is with my mom. The sister got sick on the 1st day, sea sickness, I am used to it from the Navy days.
I am really loving it, I sent New Years day out in the ocean.

Teaching my daughter to read, might seem odd but seeing her eyes light up as she reads.....not even making stealth money comes close. Next, Juggling chainsaws! well see how the Mrs takes it, haha.

Mix of travelling, business, snowboarding, training.

No offense but Blue Mountain isn't the best...at least go for Mont Tremblant Quebec :) or few other spots come to mind.

@Darwin, Cuba ...very nice :) So you live in Toronto...also nice

I just like to stay in on my PC doing my work, I love my work and doing it from home is even better.

I make PC software as a hobby and just like to stay in on these cold days.

I have given up everything I enjoy doing for january. No drinking, no smoking. Damn you dry january!

I am also currently injured so can not train or do any sports.

So I mainly spend my time staring at the wall, wondering how my life came to this.

Well done...no smoking and no drinking is a huge achievement. I unfortunately have yet to kick the nicotine habit

Not sure id call it my favourite activity but the results are nice.
January for me with six children is clearing out rubbish from the previous year with all good intentions of making some money and getting some new home comforts. Sad i know...lol

Wow 6 children, you obviously have a busy life oooooo.halo, and you still have time to post on here, I have 1 adult son and 1 teenage grandaughter, who seem to keep me quite busy, along with the pretty constant efforts getting back on ebay and maintaining Amazon

Sounds sublime CJ and years ago as a child/teenager over here in the UK I would have been doing the same
