Trading Standards, what can they do?
So last Christmas before i started selling on ebay i was selling frozen merchandise mostly dolls but some stationary sets. All counterfit. My family own a shop and suggested to sell a few in there which stupidly i did then on 7th January 2015 trading standards came in after a report and found items on sale and confiscated the following:
5 x stationery sets
9 x pencil cases
1 x elsa & anna dolls
7x individual elsa and anna dolls
Today i recieved a letter from them saying disney have since confirmed that the examples submitter for examination are not genuine authorised products and furthermore they also failed with the general product saftey regulations 2005
So i have been arrested (thought letter) and it's now necessary to formally interview my myself in relation to these matters. And before consenting to an interview you should consider taking legal advice and the representative can be present at the interview if i wish.
The Invterview is at the end of this month. Should I b worried? |
