What would be a fun toy for a 2 year old girl?
 

Does anyone know what a really cool toy for a 2 year old girl might be? I always end up giving the WORST gifts and I don't want to do that this time. Any suggestions appreciated. I'd like to keep it at $100 or less, but if the toy were cool enough I might go to $150 or even $200.

The like the new motorized barbie jeeps....not sure of the price ranges though.
Or even barbie dolls themselves.

Lazer hair removal apparatus? Fun to terrorize the family for first 16 years and then really put into good use?

Thanks, CJ, she already has one. I'm not sure if it is a Barbie one or not, but it is a motorized car with 2 batteries. I'll admit, that IS cool!

Hate to sound cliché but isnt Disney Frozen, doc mcstuffins or Dora the Explorer for this age lol

I particularly like to give "art and craft" presents to little girls/boys.
Parents are not always that happy ;) but I think it is great to manipulate and create for the young ones.
At 2 years of age there is not much difference between boys and girls games.

Play-Doh or some easy LEGO box is also a smart present in my opinion.

I always go for stuff they will get use out of, alot of stuff gets looked at once upon unwrapping and then it is just in the way....

You do not have to get 1 present either, if could be a few smaller ones.

thinking of my own brat and stuff she has liked and more importantly I have liked... Dress up clothes get used alot, for going to parties and generally but get something different, no frozen, you can have something made even. A really beautiful picture frame will be used long after she is small. A medium sized bike if she does not have one. A funky quilt like patchwork. A dolls house, not the barbie type, but more old-fashioned, wooden, with some antique type furniture too and the family figures to go in it...we got one with chandeliers - the works.....

do not buy anything made of plastic, repeat NO plastic.......!!!!!!

After many experiments i noticed a high correlation between the parents reaction and the amount of sound the instrument can create, in other words, the loudest instrument gives the best outcome. If you choose one of those you will have the BEST gift guaranteed!
