Re: Death Wish Coffee

Back in my school days I used to drink lots of coffee and had almost no effect, now i'm doing caffeine cycles and i find it much cheaper and much more efficient.

Caffeine - Scientific Review on Usage, Dosage, Side Effects | Examine.com

Do I need to cycle caffeine? - | Examine.com FAQ | Examine.com

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...words=caffeine

Much cheaper and you can put it inside your favorite beverage.

Sorry guys but you are missing the whole point in here...

coffee is not for caffeine only... it is a social experience that involves smell, taste and chat...

Bring it to a whole new level!!

I was waiting for you to add a comment along these lines ilcarletto, being Italian, all Italians love their coffee! the Venetians do as well, but they charge an arm and a leg for it of course, especially in St. Mark's square, and don't even mention the price of Coca Cola there either.

St. Mark's square has to be avoided if you want to eat or drink anything... Caffe Florian is indeed a place to visit but you can be charged 10 times the original price.
You have to be very careful in order to have proper food or drink prices in ciites like Rome, Venice or Florence.

Yes never a truer word written ilcarletto, it's many years sincerely we were in Venice, fascinating place of course, but we were paying £3 for a small bottle of Coca Cola even back then, must have 30 odd years ago, things have not improved in the tourist mecca that is Venice much since I believe.

30 years ago most cities in Italy had to be avoided. They were extremely awful or extremely dangerous.
Now we are more tourist oriented. Most places and cities are now worth a visit. If you go to the usual tourists mecca places be prepared to spend quite a lot of money.
My city, Torino, improved a lot in the last 10 years it definitively worth a visit if you happen to be in Italy. Looking forward.. ;)

Hehe yes 30 odd years ago Europe generally was quite mind boggling ilcarletto, we were camping as well, visited lots of fabulous places, Notre Dame in a Paris where we stood in stunned silence watching people whose idea of crossing the road was to dash underneath lorries stuck in the never ending clogged up traffic. Switzerland and the Alps of course were a definate highlight as well. Belgium and Ypres as well. Even though that journey was so long ago coming from sleepy little England and suddenly realising how amazing it was to be able to drive around 6 or 7 countries without having to cross the sea or fly in a plane was never to be forgotten. Waking up in a morning on a camp site where we were the only people there with the Alps rising up on both sides of us, simply stunning.

Funny how we switched places... in 1980 I was 16 and travelling around England by train with the "interrail" ticket, an unlimited journey/Km pass.
Have been all over your country for 20 days... nice journey.

Yes and I bet you did enjoy it ilcarletto, thinking back it was more like the mid to late 1970's when my family did that trip around Europe, we did France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerlnd, Austria and Italy, camping back then in a tent was crazy but something never to be forgotten like you say about your journey over here, an island nation like this this must have been quite amazing for you, I guess I was about 13 yrs old when we went. The French underground was a lifesaver for a family just getting use to driving on the other side of the road and not wanting to test out their abilities at that in the middle of Paris. Memories eh.

Never got round to saying loved your reference to the drunken Italian Google translate, European phrase book back in the 1970's were an experience as well!

None likes Kopi Luwak? You can't be a "true" coffee connoisseur if you haven't the insanely expensive (best coffee ever supposedly) coffee brewed from beans that an asian civet pooped out. That is mighty fine living IMO

Re: Death Wish Coffee

Oh my Lord, an asian civet pooped out beans used to make that coffee jboone, that is way way out of everyone on the planets comfort zone!!

Re: Death Wish Coffee

Just a little sarcasm. Ive seen it on a bunch of documentaries. Its suppose to be the best tasting coffee on the planet. I will never know though because anything fecal related doesn't go into my mouth :shhh:
