Sharknado 3 - WHY???
 

Just wondering...

Why on earth is the Sharknado series of movies so popular? It is this generation's "so bad it's good" movie, or have people completely lost it? I'm wondering because IMDB lists it as a sci-fi/horror movie, but it is comically stupid and would be more appropriately listed as a comedy. At least in my opinion.

Does anyone take these seriously? Jaws scared the hell out of me when I was a kid, I wouldn't even go swimming in LAKE MICHIGAN, and there are no sharks in the great lakes since sharks require saltwater to live.

But Sharknado just makes me wonder why parts 2 and 3 were ever made. I want to find the people who financed these so I can convince them to build my new dream park, CATWORLD!

$300,000,000 should cover it!

Well David hasselhoff is apparently in the third one so theres that.
And Jeff - sorry to tell you but there are types of sharks then can and do live in sweet water...

Why you may ask... well, because when you are as high as giraffes pussy and you still have two joints left, its almost as good of a movie as Interstellar.

Me personally, I'm not a big shark guy unless we are talking Jaws. I'm more into beavers:humble:

Another point here is how great films like Jaws were when they came out originally, and the whole cinema jumped out of their skins and screamed together at the best scenes!, then the sequels started to arrive and everything went downhill. The Exorcist was just about the best case in point, remember being in college when that came out, seeing it now looks crazy, but back then, in the 1970's, it really hit the spot of course.

There is not only Sharknado, there is Sharknado2 and Sharknado3 - the tagline for 3 is "Oh, HELL NO!"

But if you want to watch the WORST FILM ever made, find a movie called "Birdemic" - I think they also made "Birdemic 2" which is Amazing. It is on Netflix here in the states, but I have no idea how it got on there. This guy puts this move out, written, produced and directed by him, financed by mommy and daddy and starring his friends. It was not just awful it was PAINFULLY awful! Like watching a bad home movie. That one makes Sharknado look like a Steven Spielberg Masterpiece!
