Internet Explorer question?

I use internet explorer: Where it says preserve favorites data should I check it or leave it unchecked when I want to clean everything from internet explorer? I have always been confused on that part.

check it, if you want to delete it...

Also if you want a better program to do this and more CCleaner is the way to go.

Have everything checked except History (if you care about keeping the history, otherwise check that too)

Uncheck preserve. If you read it tells you what it does if you check it.
