| jeffweico | 09-06-2015 06:19 PM | Really Cool Keyboard I don't normally feel the need to share my purchases with people. But if you are like me, you CONSTANTLY use your keyboard, so it IS important. My business partner ordered it for me on Amazon as a joke, because he said it was the gayest keyboard he ever saw. But it turned out to be REALLY COOL.
It lights up - white, red, blue, yellow, green, purple, and rainbow. It looks great and has the feel of a mechanical keyboard (but it is not mechanical). For $33, it is the closest you are going to get. Eventually, I want one of those old IBM ones, but they are super expensive and for now, I am loving this one... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o01_s00 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...L._SL1000_.jpg |

Re: Really Cool Keyboard At night when you fall asleep, that keyboard gets up, climbs out your window, and bangs dudes all night. He comes back in the morning before you get up smelling like booze and ass. |

| jeffweico | 09-07-2015 08:58 AM | Re: Really Cool Keyboard Yeah, the ones that sound like machine gun fire when you use them! The problem is, most of the old ones have to be repaired and then modified so you can plug them in to today's PC's, so they are expensive. But you could really FEEL and HEAR each keypress on those old ones. My problem is, I can't justify spending $300 on a keyboard, not even to myself. |

Re: Really Cool Keyboard Regular keyboards are a dime a dozen - unless you're gaming with one...I don't see the need to pay for bells and whistles.
The Amazon one does look cool though |

it depends on what you are seeing on the screen in front of you. You may not have to use any fingers ! Spelling would though. hehe |
| jeffweico | 10-03-2015 12:51 AM | Re: Really Cool Keyboard I did the voice recognition thing for awhile, and they actually work amazingly well. The problem is, you have to speak a bit slower than normal and it does not feel natural to me. And then, I always have to go back and fix mistakes anyway, so it really didn't save me much in the way of time. I LIKE voice recognition, but it just is not quite ready yet. |
