I remember one of our other members waiting for the day that Alibaba would collapse. It hasn't happened...yet. But it seems as though that math isnt adding up.

I look at some of the prices and sometimes it is cheaper/same to buy from the china ebay sellers

doesnt matter. chinese government will just help front whatever jack ma needs. he is too big now and in bed with too many other companies around the world.

Anything that hast to do with China is all doom and gloom in the USA media. Dying USA companies like hp will make a recovery, even when they are cutting 30000 jobs.

Very interesting story, only time will tell. Must say though from just reading that article it does seem rather fishy, but who knowswill be interesting to see how this all plays out

Alibaba isn't going to collapse anytime soon. They are everywhere in China. Most people use their shopping portal TaoBao, their Alipay service processes half the payments in China and they have tons of other services. They are the Google of China and China is the US of tomorrow.
