I've made a little money, I do that sometimes for fun, but it is gambling. Not suitable for a business plan.

Exactly. I take risks all the time, but they are based on informed decisions. Pulling a slot lever is not an informed decision, the outcome is random. Las Vegas does not interest me. I have been there for conventions dozens of times and I can always happily walk right through the casino without betting on anything. In Vegas, they make it so you have to walk through the casino to go ANYWHERE!

The prediction markets can be fun, but it is not a place to try to make serious money. I bet $10 or $20 here and there. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. But I would never put a large amount at risk, especially on something that seems like a sure thing. Because the return is small and if it goes south, you can lose a LOT of money!
