Who has pets?

So who owns a pet?

Please tell us the name of the pet and if you can please include a picture.

I had a cat for seven years and it got flees and we had to take it to a back alley

I loved that cat! We spent a couple thousand dollars on it to get rid of the flees but the darn flees never went away. I'm pretty pist just thinking about why we spent a few grand on a animal!

Hi,
I have a ****-zu and a bernese mountain dog.
Thanks for asking!

philly387 01-09-2009 11:29 AM

I have a shihtzu too, I will post a pic in a little bit. His name is Buster!

Pets get the most funiest names! I don't particularly like dogs since a dog attacked me one time by the lake! That stupid bull dog made me run all the way to my house and no it didn't stop there! It kept on hitting my front door after I came into my house. Finally had to call the pet police to get it removed.

I have two Italian Greyhounds. They are just like greyhounds only mini size. They are super fast. Both are girls. These dogs are super hard to house train....it's a breed thing. If you are not patient with house training don't get this type of dog. Nahla and Chi-chi are the names.

Hey Klligreen....We had a Burmese Mountain dog in our dog training class. They are very smart dogs. That dog made my dogs look stupid. Grrrrrr....LOL

klligreen323 01-09-2009 07:03 PM

I had one before this one too. But he died a year and a half ago.
This one is very headstrong, a little unusual for a bernese.

John14789 01-09-2009 10:53 PM

Modee, you made a excellent point! We should have freakin done that. Well its been two years since the cat incident and I'm kinda over it. You don't know how difficult it was to get the flees out of the house. Oh man that was a mission!

Here is a pic of my dog! His name is Buster and he is a Shih-Tzu. That is his chair he sits in too!

Did you bomb the house?

I foster shelter dogs only one came with flea's and that is the one I keep.
He is a 110 pound german shep/lab/rottie mutt. He dug up my back yard so my son named him digger. I also have two cats, 17 yrs old rex, and sniffy. and a rabbit named stew.
The dog is my baby... I refuse to watch marly and me :(

John14789 01-10-2009 02:55 PM

That's a cute dog philly! Personally I don't like the pet hair every where. One time I was out and my cat sat on the dining room table. Hair was everywhere on that table.

philly387 01-10-2009 02:57 PM

Thanks John! The one thing that is great about Buster, is that he doesnt shed at all! The only time there is hair anywhere is if he scratches which isn't very often. In that picture, that is about as long as his hair gets until we bring him to the groomer.

nikki404 01-10-2009 03:06 PM

My Italian Greyhound Chi-Chi is fearless...she weighs 10 pounds and has taken on two pit bulls and 1 huge mix breed at the dog park. Good thing she is fast. I think she needs therapy. Philly your baby is cute!

John14789 01-10-2009 03:45 PM

Wow! that's pretty good. My cat's chair was ALWAYS full of hair. I plan to get another cat very soon or I may just consider your type of dog. By the way where did you get your dog?
You didn't pay an absurd amount of money for it, right?

philly387 01-10-2009 05:53 PM

I paid $700 for him. He was born in Arkansas. We had him shipped to Detroit, MI.

John14789 01-10-2009 10:17 PM

Are you series $700 for a dang dog! I paid $60 for my cat and was happy doin it. People breeding and selling dogs must be makin a bundle.

philly387 01-10-2009 11:13 PM

Well shipping him was about $250...and my g/f fell in love as soon as she saw the pic of him. He was 6 weeks old when we got him and he is awesome...definitely well worth it. The first year of having him was rough though...they pee so much!!!
