luckoftheirish93 | 01-09-2016 03:41 PM | uk lottery anyone do the lottery tonight in the uk? 57 million or something up for grabs
I hear the website down all day that many people are doing it, what would you spend that sort of money on? |
JamesNorth101 | 01-09-2016 03:47 PM | Re: uk lottery I have 3 tickets!
First purchase would be a Bugatti all day long |
ilcarletto | 01-09-2016 03:57 PM | Re: uk lottery I bought the winner ticket off ebay... the guy assured me ;) |
jeffweico | 01-09-2016 03:59 PM | Re: uk lottery In the US, the Powerball has a record jackpot of $900,000,000 - Yes, that is NINE-HUNDRED-MILLION DOLLARS and they are predicting that it may go over a BILLION DOLLARS.
Facts: - Your chance of winning is 1 in 292,000,000
- Only 75% of possible combinations have been picked so far.
- If there is no winner tonight, Wednesday's drawing would be for $1,300,000,000 (ONE BILLION-THREE-HUNDRED-MILLION)
- If you choose the cash option (if you are the only winner tonight) the lump-sum payout would be $545,000,000
Everyone I know has gone completely insane. By all means, buy a few tickets for fun, but DON'T SPEND HUNDREDS OR THOUSANDS! Because even if you had a million dollars and bought a million tickets, you odds of winning would still be very small at 1 in 292. |
blueuk | 01-09-2016 03:59 PM | Re: uk lottery I've done £100 for the past 2 mega draws. Won £50 and 6 lucky dips!
Only done £42 for tonight, it's a complete waste of money. 40something/1 odds.
Though the USA lottery the odds are even higher. |
phaz0rz | 01-09-2016 03:59 PM | Re: uk lottery only 57 mil?
In USA the powerball is at like $800 million haha |
JamesNorth101 | 01-09-2016 04:01 PM | Re: uk lottery Our odds are much better though in the UK
This time around they are even better than usually as the money has to be one, so if all numbers are not matched then they will loose a number until someone gets a match |

dan_ebay | 01-09-2016 04:32 PM | Re: uk lottery I didn't win, its a stitch up. Spent ages picking those numbers |
Haidukken | 01-09-2016 05:11 PM | Re: uk lottery Never played lottery, never probably will. Just too scared to win, I'm sure it'd ruin me within 6 months. |
Re: uk lottery The powerball is intense indeed - what a sweet jackpot - who's on it? |
RosieTosie | 01-10-2016 03:53 AM | Re: uk lottery 2 winners, all the numbers were high as well which explains why so few winners. |

just_smile | 01-10-2016 06:07 AM | Re: uk lottery Apparently a lot of people are turning to the health lottery now. Since the changes to the lotto.
I don't play often, usually only when there's a large jackpot. But I may look in to the health lottery. |
RosieTosie | 01-10-2016 06:13 AM | Re: uk lottery Yes the health lottery is still only £1 a line, which is better than lotto offers. |
Re: uk lottery Was there a winner? |
RosieTosie | 01-10-2016 11:22 AM | Re: uk lottery Yes rsot, 2 winners of the U.K. Lottery. |
JamesNorth101 | 01-10-2016 06:27 PM | Re: uk lottery £33m each. Not a bad pay day.
They could band together and buy Hefners mansion! (although they would still need a large mortgage) |
Re: uk lottery No one won the Powerball in USA - jackpot at 1.3 billion...who wants to do a group? :) |

DanielStone | 11-13-2019 11:58 AM | Re: uk lottery Hi, men. I think, nobody won't argue, that UK lotteries are the best ones in the world. They're so, because of sheer volume, amounts of the money, you can win and the frequency of the lotteries. You can also think, that I am biased, and it will be truth. It's because I won the lottery ($1500) 3 months ago using Hot and Cold charts, where could be seen numbers, that were in the winning ticket often and less, so I chosen, the numbers, that should befall, like I thought from the cold numbers, and they befelt. My happiness wasn't end. But if we don't take into account the last fact, UK lotteries remains the best one in the world. |
