how to get us bank?
 

Following on from the dropshipping thread I want to do it in the US so how do I get a US bank?

How much is it to set up a US company and I assume I can do it from the UK and then I can get a bank there? How much are yearly accountant fees roughly? Once I have a company number I don't need to worry about the 20k a year paypal thing right?

As far as i know you need a SSN number to get a bank account in the USA and be a resident.

They used to offer non usa resident bank accounts but not sure if those exist anymore.

If you bank with HSBC and you have enough you can move from another bank or you already have in your current HSBC account then they can grant you international banking in the US. There maybe some more information online. Maybe worth a call to see what they can offer you

My mother haves Visa to travel to United States
and the only thing she did is went to Wells Fargo Bank, And she open a account
I open a paypal here in Nicaragua with her name and linked the bank to her paypal account
and everything is working good.

You can open a US account even if you are not resident, All you need is a billing address and be on USA and go to the bank.

BMO Harris bank allowed me as a Canadian citizen to open up accounts without having to go into US - perhaps will work for UK citizens. I did have to mail in copies of ID
