How to unlock a sidekick or the g1?

I really want to unlock my tmobile g1 and sidekick 2008 and lx so I could use it on the AT&T network. If anybody has the unlock code or could get the unlock code that would really help. If you have tmobile you can basically call tmobile and ask them for the unlock code because your leaving on a trip to a different country.

Have you tried calling them? I thought they stopped unlocking phones.

I don't have tmobile so I can't call them. I have AT&T that's why I want the unlock code from tmobile so I may unlock the tmobile LOCKED phones so they could be used on AT&T.

If your not a tmobile customer for more than 90 days then you can't request the code.

I saw a few services that offer unlocking the G1, do a Google search.

Those services charge an absurd amount of money to do provide a simple unlock code. I'd rather not pay $50-100 for just unlocking a phone.
