Powerball @ $1.5billion

Is anyone buying tickets? What would you do if you win?

Re: Powerball @ $1.5billion

First time I've ever bought a Powerball ticket. I HATE the damn lottery any other time. When I used to smoke, it would never fail. Any time I needed a pack of smokes there would be someone cashing in 30 lottery tickets at the only register in the store. 30 second gas station run turns into a 10 minute wait.

But yeah, you can't win if you don't play. So for a chance at 1.5bil I'm a fan today. I'd buy a decent house then open a ton of businesses. I wouldn't be able to just retire. I would get too bored.

Edit: Crap, I forgot you disallowed responses from me on your posts. My bad.

I would open up the biggest animal welfare place that every existed. Hire animal behavior experts to rehabilitate them, and play with all the puppies!

I would change my phone number so the step kids couldn't call and head for a secluded stretch of white sandy beach where it is warm for starters....

I will donate tons of money to many different animal rescues, especially Doberman rescues; retire my GA pilot hubs from his teaching job, build a new house and a HUGE airplane hangar on a residential airstrip, buy at least two new airplanes so we can fly whenever we felt the urge (and the weather permitted) and also pick up a 2016 Tiffin
Allegro Bus 45OP Class A motor home.

If you see a large new animal charity opening up massive no-kill shelters across the country under the name "MamaCat's House, Where ALL Are Welcome!" you will know that I won. And I would put the ticket in the name of the charity. That way, there is zero tax. It would mean I wouldn't get a part of it, but that's OK. I don't need tchotchkes.

Re: Powerball @ $1.5billion

theres going to be a lot more billion + dollar lotteries because powerball SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the odds of winning recently. They did it to have larger pots that would attract more people. and it worked.

I spent $30 on tickets. stupid.

3 different State winners so far.

Hope they use their win in a good manner.

Wrong part of Los Angles, rsot. Not the east at all. Chino Hills is San Bernadino way, south west.

Re: Powerball @ $1.5billion

ive never bought a ticket. just never saw the appeal to gambling.

now as to what i would do with the money.

1. if possible buy minecraft/4j/mojang.
2. set up trust funds for every member of my family and extended family. hundreds of people easily.
3. start up some tech innovative companies.
4. compete with ebay
5. start my own country! this might require bloodshed snd warfare.
