Iphone tethering

So what's the latest with iPhone tethering? I have unlimited data on my iPhone and I feel like I'm wasting money using a mobile hotspot. I should be tethering from my phone right?

I have an iphone on AT&T with unlimited data and I have a Verizon mifi device for stealth. My question is can I make my phone a mobile hotspot and use for stealth?

Just turn your bluetooth on along with your personal hotspot, enter password.

I think what he means is he has a phone with unlimited data and he has another mobile hotspot device. He wants to know if he can quit the mobile hotspot device and just go full time with phone hotspoting with unlimited data... CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG...

I used personal hotspot on my iPhone for years, it worked great, now I'm using mobile hotspot with my iPad, that works great to, it's a personal preference

Depends on your plan and carrier. More and more companies are starting to include tethering in your data plan.

Verizon prepaid $45 and $60/month plans include it for free. I use the phone as one of my hotspots and it works fine.
